Our MMA classes are focused on competitive fighting under the Association of Boxing Commissions Unified Ruleset. Due to the nature of these classes, the students are expected to be well rounded in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Clinch Work, Muay Thai and have excellent conditioning. As such, this means these clases are invite only and upon invitation from one of the MMA coaches a student can begin to attend both the scheduled classes as well as fighter specific times that may not be listed on the official schedule. The other core courses, such as BJJ and Muay Thai are good base classes to be invited to fighter training and required for all fighters
Though we are training to fight, the goal is to become better martial artists all around and not lose sight of the long term goal because of short term obstacles. Our fighters are expected to train consistently to improve their skillset and mindset as well as set the highest example of conduct in the gym.
There is a difference between a fighter and a martial artist. A fighter is training for a purpose: He has a fight.
I’m a martial artist. I don’t train for a fight. I train for myself. I’m training all the time. My goal is perfection. But I will never reach perfection.
We have produced some of the most dominate fighters in Colorado over the last few years, and numerous current top prospects.
